What would a new CMEA website look like?
Some thoughts:
1. We should use social network tools as much as possible.
2. We should have a public page, a blog for the president, and a ning for the members. This allows a public face (on the website) for general info, timely distribution of information and vision shaping from the president (blog), and instant feedback from the members (ning).
3. I think we should utilize wikis much more. This would be a great way to get students involved. We could have our own wiki site. This is where we could build content (how to start a drumming group, how to tune a guitar, how to run a parents group, etc...).
4. The more we hook into the power of the members and let them design the space the easier it is for the leadership volunteers. A good design will allow for a much more fluid dialogue.

If you are reading this I would like you to think about the power of this system. How would we have gotten feedback from members in the old system?
