It is not blocked at my school. Whomever controls your local network can unblock it if that is the case. The state blocks categories (Games, Social Networks, etc...) and the local district can unblock any of them. They can unblock whole categories or just individual domains. Many schools are using nings.

So, if you think this is valuable ask your school people to unblock ning. Have them read the literature on them.

Actually it is blocked by the state. It was Scott Schuler who pointed it out. It was also blocked at my school.
How about www.del.icio.us.com?
I also did a quick google search and saw that scholastic offers networks.

This isnt blocked by the state server. I dont know why it would be blocked by your school tech people. They control the filter.

Brandt is there any social network that will not be blocked by state and school servers?
Just a thought.
